Dr. Blaine Oden
Dr. Blaine Oden graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Shortly thereafter, he began veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. In 2003, Dr. Oden graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced at several different veterinary hospitals in that time. Dr. Oden spent the majority of his practice career in Lubbock and helped build a very successful practice. Thankfully, it was not God’s will for him to own that practice, and it was sold to a large veterinary corporation from California. Dr. Oden wanted to continue practicing in Lubbock, and provide quality, personalized care for the pets in this community, so he started his own practice.
Dr. Adam Vree
Dr. Adam Vree graduated from UTPB in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St Kitts in 2015 graduating with his DVM in 2018. He has practiced at one other vet clinic in Midland, TX where he called home for 4 years before moving to Lubbock. He has gained years of experience working with all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to kangaroos and kinkajous. His love for animals and his faith have allowed him to build personal relationships with his patients as well as clients and wants to continue sharing the love of Christ through his work and his life goals. In his spare time, he loves to read, workout and go running outdoors, hang out with his friends, and go on mission trips using veterinary medicine as a platform to reach others for Christ.

My name is Catarina Gutierrez. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and hope to enter the veterinary school very soon! I have a Chihuahua named Conchita who loves me unconditionally, but don’t be fooled! I like big mutts too and I cannot lie! (Yes, I am also cheesy.) I dance folklorico when I’m not too busy working (if you don’t know what that is I’d be glad to talk about it!) During the Summer of 2015 I had the opportunity to volunteer in Guatemala and aided in bringing veterinary care to the rural towns. This experience was eye opening and I hope to travel to more amazing places!

Hello, My name is Summer, I was born and raised in Slaton, Tx. I decided to make the big move down the street to Lubbock to pursue my dream of working in a vet clinic. In February of 2018, I graduated from Vista College’s Veterinary Technician Program. I have one fur child (for now) named Zaida, who means the world to me. When I am not at work, I enjoy going to concerts, drawing, painting, and being crafty! I am truly blessed to work with the team at Oden Veterinary Hospital and look forward to growing with them. I am also looking forward to meeting you all and providing the best care for your loving pets!

Hi! My name is Kyleigh. I have been a tech since 2013. I attended Vista College where I received my associates degree in Animal Science. I have 2 dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat who thinks he’s a dog. In my free time I love spending time with my family, going to the lake in the summertime and remodeling my house when I have the time.
