I have a beautiful and loving wife Christy, and my son Camryn whom our lives revolve around. We have several pets: Stella and Riese are our dogs and we have three chickens named Moe, Larry and Curly. Both Christy and I are graduates of Texas Tech University and have our roots in Lubbock. After graduating from Tech, we sought graduate degrees from Baylor and Texas A&M. Christy worked full time, attended graduate school at Baylor in Waco and supported me through veterinary school, for that I will forever be grateful. In 2003, after graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, we moved to Odessa, Texas. After 2 years, we moved back to Lubbock where I worked in various clinics as a relief veterinarian. I eventually worked full time at a practice in Lubbock that I helped to make thrive and grow for 10 years. That practice became a monster to manage and took a huge toll on my family. Thankfully, it was never God’s will for me to own any part of that practice. It was sold to a corporation from California. That is what has brought me to open my own practice. We wanted a God centered, small, family oriented business that can provide compassionate, loving, high quality care. Being a veterinarian is rewarding, fun and what God wanted me to do with my life, but it is not what is most important in my life. Please understand, when I am at work, I promise to give your pets my all. However, I am a husband and dad first and foremost. These are the most important jobs to me. We have many office hours for appointments thru the week to provide excellent care for your pets, and I look forward to meeting you. Welcome to Oden Veterinary Hospital.
